You do not need to go to Poznań to participate in this year\'s edition of the TRANSATLANTYK. This year, Mobile Cinema Skoda, one of the most popular festival sections, will visit viewers from Greater Poland in their own cities. Piła, Chodzież, Wągrowiec, Szamotuły, Środa Wielkopolska, Śrem, Września, Gniezno, Ostrów Wielkopolski, Kalisz, Leszno, Konin, Turek, Koło, Gostyń, Pleszew, Jarocin, Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Krotoszyn and Kościan are the stops on the route of the Mobile Cinema; the screenings will be held throughout the entire July and August.

August 9-13, in Poznan, TRANSATLANTYK, for the fourth time, will present the Culinary Cinema, one of the most popular film sections of the Festival. In addition to film screenings, organizers will invite the audience to five exceptional dinners, served at the Transatlantyk Restaurant in Błonie of Wilda in Poznan. This year, authorial menu of the Culinary Cinema will be prepared by some of the finest chefs in Poland, including the first two female chefs of the Festival. As in previous years, this unusual event that combines film and culinary arts is being prepared in collaboration with the creators of the Berlinale. TRANSATLANTYK Festival Poznań launches the project, Culinary Cinema, for the fourth time and this year, with redoubled power; the festival begins a very important collaboration with the brand, PIOTR i PAWEŁ, which will provide this section with an exceptional quality of this year’s culinary journeys.
\"Black Coal, Thin Ice\" and \"Psie Pole” are the most important films in the section Panorama at the TRANSATLANTYK Festival Poznań 2014. The first of them, Yi\'nana Diao’s picture is the winner of this year\'s Berlinale. In Berlin, the film received the Golden Bear for Best Film and the Silver Bear for Best Actor. The second hit of the most popular film section at the Poznan event is a new work of the great master of Polish cinema, Lech Majewski.
For the fourth time at the TRANSATLANTYK Festival, TRANSATLANTYK ECO will provide a platform for discussion of all topics related to ecology and human environment. This year, four pictures will be presented as part of that extremely important section, including a documentary in 3D technology that has never been showcased at the festival before.
