Poland will play host to the event for the fourth time. This cycle will treat the audience – as in
previous years – to a unique blend of screenings and evening meals inspired by the movies. A ticket
to each of the five screenings is meant as an invitation to a four-course evening meal held in a
carefully selected and arranged restaurant space. The unique menu of the Culinary Cinema will be
prepared by star chefs in Poland, including two female chefs for the first time. Discussions with film
and culinary artists will bring added value to the evening. Like in the past, this extraordinary event is
prepared in collaboration with the Berlinale team. Thomas Struck, the curator of the Berlin cycle has
been providing his guidance to the Poznań edition of Culinary Cinema from its onset.
Kitchen Manager will be again Patryk Dziamski, a chef and an outstanding culinary advisor in Poland.
As in previous years, films will be showcased at Multikino 51 at 06:30 pm from August 9 through to
13. Culinary feasts will be held at the Transatlantyk Restaurant located at Błonie Wildeckie.
