Five Dances

dir. Alan Brown, USA 2012, 83 min.

Chip (Ryan Steele) is a talented, eighteen-year-old dancer who has recently arrived to New York from Kansas on a ballet school scholarship. There, he was spotted by Anthony who invited him to join his group. Intensive rehearsals for the new choreography are in progress. A shy passion is born between Chip and the second dancer Theo. However, Chip finds it increasingly challenging to support himself in New York. He cannot count on the help of his parents who would rather prefer for him to come home.
