Grzegorz Zariczny

He resigned from geography studies after two years in order to start a film directing course on the Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in 2005. He also graduated from the documentary and feature film course in the Wajda School. He directed short film Our Bad Winter, Marysina Polana documentary and LOVE, LOVE. Among others, Zariczny was awarded Grand Jury Prize on Sundance Film Festival in 2013 for his short film Gwizdek. The director is also a winner of Talenty Trójki Award for filmmakers and the 2012 winner of the Creative Scholarship of the City of Cracow. Zariczny has received numerous prestigious awards in Poland and abroad for his short films.
