Helena Sujecka

Helena Sujecka is a 2009 graduate of the Acting Department of the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław. She works for the Capitol Music Theatre in Wrocław. Her other acting credits include productions of Teatr Piosenki in Wrocław, the Wojciech Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz and the Bratislava Theatre.  

She won the acclaim of many a director with her first major appearance on the silver screen in Ryszard Brylski's Cudowne lato
 (A Wonderful Summer). Her other interesting roles include those of Niunia in Być jak Kazimierz Deyna (Being Like Deyna), Bajadera in Yuma, or Matylda in Chce się żyć (Life Feels Good)

In 2013 at the 26th National Puppetry Festival in Opole she won an award for her role of Pamela Courson in the play Morrison/ Śmiercisyn. The film Yuma, in which she appeared as Bajadera, earned the Audience Award at the “The Young and the Cinema” Cinematic Debut Festival in Koszalin, an event focusing on young debuting filmmakers, and the Chicago Film Critics Award at the Polish Film Festival in America.
