Justyna Słupska Kartaczowska

She studied Art History to later enroll in the Department of Film and Theatre Makeup in Paris. In the end, her love of culinary art and cooking took over.
She worked in numerous prestigeous restaurants all around the globe, including Agnieszka Kręglicka's restaurant in Warsaw (Poland), Hotel Martinez and La Palme d' Or 2 * Michelin Restaurant in France. Currently, she is the chef at Monopol Hotel in Wroclaw (Poland.).
She is passionate about foie-gras, truffles, fresh coriander, fleur de sel and oisters. She believes that flavors are just like colors – everyone perceives them differently.
In her culinary experiments she pursues the idea of simplicity, enhancing in her dishes their defining flavor and aroma.
