Michał Baranowski

Head of the Warsaw branch of German Marshall Fund of the United States, where he mainly deals with transatlantic relations, American foreign politics and the relations between the United States and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. 
Before taking the current position, he worked in the main seat of GMF in Washington, D.C., where he developed GFM programs in Poland and East-Central Europe. He wrote i.a. for Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita, Warsaw Business Journal and The Kyiv Post. Graduate of the European studies at the University of Maastricht, he also studied at Mercer University in USA and Oxford University.
