Michał Gryn (born 1980) has 10 years of experience as a computer graphic designer. Before starting his cooperation with Platige Image, he had created a digital reconstruction of the Jewish synagogue in Zielona Góra (2003). The project was presented at Electronic Visual Art Berlin. He also worked with a team of computer games designers. Since 2007 he’s been working with Platige Image as a project leader and computer graphic designer. He led the “City of Ruins” (original title: Miasto Ruin) project – a digital reconstruction of 1945 Warsaw – for the Warsaw Rising Museum. The project received prestigious prizes: MUSE Award – awarded by the American Association of Museums, and nomination to the VES Award – awarded by the Visual Effect Society. In Poland, “City of Ruins” was also appreciated by the jury of KTR and received an award in the Film Workshop category. In 2011, Michał Gryn supervised work on the promo spot for Transatlantyk Festival (based on Tomasz Opasiński design). He also worked on special and artistic projects, such as Kinematograf by Tomasz Bagński, Przyroda – a film being an element of the Move Your Imagination campaign, Jan Matejko Bitwa pod Grunwaldem 3D and an anniversary spot entitled Grunwald. Walka 600-lecia. He co-created tens of commercials of Polish and foreign brands.

Platige Image is a much awarded Polish postproduction studio with many years of experience in computer graphic design, 3D animations, digital special effects and image composition. They have created over two thousand commercials, opening credits, music videos, independent animated films and also special projects, e.g. social awareness campaigns, theatrical performances, and projects for state institutions. Their projects have been nominated to Oscars, Emmy Awards and VES Awards, and received BAFTA, Siggraph and Annecy awards.
