Paweł Maślona

Born in 1983. Director and screenwriter. A graduate of political science at the Jagiellonian University and of Directing at the Department of Radio and Television in Katowice. Author of short films, including " Tylko dla obłąkanych " (VFF Young Talent Award for the Best Film, International Festival of Film Schools, Munich 2010), " Zaćmienie " (Best Director- Shanghai International Film Festival 2012) and "MAGMA" (Best Student Live Action Short 15min & more- Palm Springs ShortFest 2013, Main Award in the Young Cinema Competition at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia 2013, Best Film in Shortcut Competition - TOFIFEST 2013).

He has also won several advertising competitions, including the international edition of the Student Kodak Advertising Film Competition Golden Drum-, 2009. In 2011 he was a finalist of the Talenty Trójki competition, for the most promising young Polish artists.

Co-writer of the film "Demon" by Marcin Wrona (premiere in fall 2015) and "Mord" (shooting in 
atumn 2015). Finalist of SCRIPT PRO 2013 for the screenplay called "Historie śmieciowe". He is 
currently working on the film adaptation of the novel "Lubiewo" by Michał Witkowski and preparing for his full-length feature directorial debut.
