Roque Baños

Spanish musician and composer. He gratuated from the Madrid Royal Conservatory and Berklee Collage of Music in Boston. After returning from the USA to Spain, he started to compose for the big screen. He is an author of over 70 soundtracks. Roque Baños won Goya Award in two consecutive years: in 2007 (13 Roses) and 2008 (The Oxford Murder) starring Elijah Wood. He composed music to many cult movies of Western cinematography such as Spike Lee’s Oldboy and The Machinist starring Christian Bale. One of his latest achivments is the soundtrack for In the Heart of the Sea directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code, A Beautiful Mind).
