Born: 13.08.1933 in Poznan, Poland. Study 1955-1961 Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw graduating with a Degree in Graphic Design in 1961 (Prof. Henryk Tomaszewski, Prof. Wojciech Fangor).  Professional Career: 1958-1966 - Work in Poland as a freelance designer (posters: social, cinema, theatre, illustrations, book jackets and record covers). 1966 - Emigrated to England.  Roslaw Szaybo's career includes having been The Art Director for Young and Rubicam Advertising for 5 years (1968-1973) and Creative Director for C.B.S. Records Great Britain (Columbia Broadcasting System) for 14 years (1974-1988). He also worked on many freelance projects, including work for London Zoo, British Film Institute, Imperial War Museum, Panther Books, Sadlers Wells Theatre, Almeida Theatre, Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, London Transport and many Polish theatres. 1988-1993 he worked as a freelancer in London, designing theatre posters and record covers. Since 1993, Roslaw Szaybo has been Professor of Creative Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw He also works as freelance designer for the television and film industry as well as theatres and publishing houses. He has won many awards for his posters and record cover designs both in Poland and Internationally His work is exhibited throughout Europe both in solo shows and as part of International polish Posters Art exhibitions.
